A couple of months ago we reviewed a new comedic dating sim game currently exclusive to the Steam store. In our review we said that Monster Prom is as much a dating sim as Scary Movie is a horror film. It follows the patterns of a normal dating sim and completely flips everything upside down.

Conan Exiles never shies away from letting you know exactly what type of game that you’re in store for. In the opening cinematic you’re a dead man hanging on a cross in the desert as a shadowy figure approaches you. As the figure gets closer you find out that it’s Conan himself and he’s here to strip you from your cross and give you a second chance at life. His parting advice to you before he heads back off into the desert is simple – “Survive.”

Tomb Towers is a puzzle adventure game that has you exploring rooms in various towers searching for the evil Necromancer with hopes of finding him and presenting him to the king. Gameplay is fairly simple – moving from room to room you’ll find yourself exploring each level collecting coins and keys in order to advance to the next room.
There’s an immediate sense of familiarity to Marie’s Room for anyone who is a fan of story narrative “Walking Sims.” A feeling you can’t shake, like you’ve finally made it back home after a long journey. Though the story is new, you can’t help but feel as though you’ve been here before.
