Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edtion Announced

Coming This Winter

One of the most beloved RPG’s from last generation is coming back just in time for their 10th anniversary. Tales of Vesperia was a huge hit when it landed on consoles in 2008 and quickly became a fan favorite in the Tales series.

Announced during the Microsoft conference, the definitive edition will include upscaled graphics, two new playable characters, new events and content not released outside of Japan. Once again we follow Yuri on his andventure to save his town and ultimately the world.

One of the things that set Vesperia apart was its iteration of the combat system. You control one character in real time while the rest of your band of misfits all fight beside you. You can switch between any character at any time.

The most exciting thing about the announcement is how many consoles it will be released on. The original only saw life in the U.S. on Xbox 360 with an expanded edition later being released on PS3 only in Japan. This winter you’ll be able to play Tales of Vesperia on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC so there is no excuse to not play the game this time around.
