For anyone that follows the video game world, E3 is the most wonderful time of the year. The endless possibilities of announcements and hope that the game you’ve been waiting for will finally be revealed. One of the rarest yet most thrilling type of reveals at E3 comes in the way of a shadow drop.
Conan Exiles never shies away from letting you know exactly what type of game that you’re in store for. In the opening cinematic you’re a dead man hanging on a cross in the desert as a shadowy figure approaches you. As the figure gets closer you find out that it’s Conan himself and he’s here to strip you from your cross and give you a second chance at life. His parting advice to you before he heads back off into the desert is simple – “Survive.”
After a lackluster showing at E3 2015, Square Enix took a few years off to re-evaluate the way they handle such big events and are set to take the stage at E3 once again.
E3 2018 is barely under way and already we have our first shadow dropped game. EA has announced and released Unravel Two. Unravel Two is the follow up to the semi successful first title EA released through their EA originals banner back in 2015.
