Devolver Digital is at it again. Breaking years of silence in regard to the Serious Sam franchise, Devolver and Croteam have announced Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass. Announced for Steam with more details expected to come out of E3 2018.
A small trailer was revealed this morning at the Reboot Develop conference. The trailer shows precious little, but the footage shown does appear to be from the in-game engine. The logo for the game also suggests there could be some sort of multiplayer element or possibly like Red Dead Redemption 2 with more playable characters than just Sam this time around.
It’s been almost eight years since we had a proper entry in Sam’s saga when Serious Sam 3 BFE was released. There have been rumblings of 4 in the works since early 2013, but this is the first we have had actual comfirmation.
