After a highly successful Kickstarter campaign and numerous console releases, Red Hook Studios’ has brought Darkest Dungeon to the Nintendo Switch. Combining RPG dungeon crawling with XCOM like permadeath, along with a dark and dreary ascetic, Darkest Dungeon is tough, unforgiving and will continue to punish you when you’re down. Despite it’s high difficulty, you’ll find yourself wanting to come back and give it another go.
To call a game a walking simulator may be the most degrading way to classify it. To take these incredible story driven experiences and pigeonhole them in a way that says they are nothing more than walking around is a wrong I hope to see rectified in the near future. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter…

After the death of Prometheus, the king of the gods, the titans waged war on each other to seize control of the world. The first great war left the world in ashes and the titans withdrew to re-build their forces. This world cannot withstand any more; someone must end the second great war before it starts. Enter the furies: Triss the tank, Alex the fighter, Meg the sniper, and Erin the engineer. Together they will drive back the titans, save the world, and make a lot of really corny jokes.
