Marvel’s Spider-Man, The City That Never Sleeps: Turf Wars – Review
Insomniac Games delivered a brand new episode of DLC just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The second entry in The City That Never Sleeps DLC is called Turf Wars, and features one of Marvel’s most iconic mobsters, Hammerhead. This new episode only takes a few hours to complete, but it’s of a good quality and is the perfect way to spend some extra free time.

Platted That! – Assassins Creed: Odyssey
Malaka…Assassin’s Creed Odyssey really surprised the Handsome Phantom crew. Many of us were willing to write this game off, especially in a year with so many amazing titles coming out. Against all odds, Odyssey delivers a stellar RPG that is epic in every sense of the word. The Platinum Trophy requires a significant time investment, but the stories along the way are well written, and fun as heck.

Marvel’s Spider-Man, The City That Never Sleeps: The Heist – Review
This week, Insomniac Games released the first of three DLC packages planned for their smash hit Spider-Man game. The suite is called The City That Never Sleeps. This first entry, The Heist, delivers a short, but fun story, some perfectly adequate side content, and some sweet new suits as well.

The Replay Value of God of War+
It’s easy to forget God of War (2018) is barely five months old. Not only does spring seem to be forever ago, but the game became such an instant classic that it’s hard to remember the world before it came out – in the long, long ago. Hyperbole? To some, but the game received a heap of critical praise, commercial success, and “Boy!” memes. At the basic level, Santa Monica Studios managed to bring the God of War franchise, and its haggard hero Kratos of Sparta, back from death.

Platted That! – God of War (2018)
Welcome back to Platted That! This week we’re going to do a quick rundown of the biggest hit (so far) of 2018, and one of the best console exclusives ever made. While we would have preferred a more unique title to distinguish this sequel from its predecessors, one that didn’t force us to refer to the game as “God of War (2018),” we loved returning to the saga of Kratos and enjoyed the challenging but very doable Platinum Trophy it came with.

Games for America: Celebrating Independence Day
In 1775 America changed its Facebook status from “In A Relationship with Britain,” to “It’s complicated.” On this day in history, after sweating in a small room in Philadelphia for an ungodly amount of time, the founding fathers decided to go H.A.M. on independence.

Staff E3 Favorites – Kevin’s Pick – Elder Scrolls: Blades
There’s a smell in the air, and a painfully tingling sensation in my wallet. It’s the smell emanating from the stampede of games coming in the fall of 2018 and spring of 2019. It’s a flood that may be marking the end of this gaming generation with a definite bang.

Platted That! – Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 arrived this spring with controversy and gave gamers a new and intense appreciation for the simple efficiency of the shovel. Especially a shovel with a smiley face painted on it.

E3 Predictions (2018) – Bethesda
Bethesda rose from its humble, Where’s Waldo origins, to become one of gaming’s industry titans. This year’s E3 will continue the new tradition of Bethesda hosting its own mini-conference, affectionately called BE3. Rumors abound around this tight-lipped developer, but possible leaks are too tantalizing to ignore. Here’s a few predictions for what’s sure to be an exciting installment of BE3
