Indie game Geneshift, by Nik Nak Studios, becomes the 10th most played game on Steam, ever. It didn’t achieve this status because of any kind of superior design, experience, or underlying feature that Geneshift stands head and shoulders above the thousands of other indie games out there. Instead, Geneshift grew rapidly in player count due to a simple post on Reddit, which spurred a great number of Steam bots to flood into the GTA inspired Battle Royale game.

If I’ve learned anything from A Gummy’s Life, it would be how miserable their lives are and how compelled I am to eat them all in an attempt to save them from this life of mediocrity all Gummies apparently live. The tag line for the game says, “the gummies have come to life and they are unmanageable.” This is more accurate than they could even imagine considered you never feel in complete control of the gummy that you choose to fight as.
