Spectrum could easily be viewed as an N++ clone, but dismissing it as such would be a disservice to both games. While the first few levels play out similarly to those in N++, in no time at all Spectrum begins to separate itself and stand on its own two feet. With over eighty levels spread out over eight different environments, Spectrum will keep you busy for a long time. Completing the levels is not nearly enough and you’ll find yourself going back again and again to master them.
Digerati has been doing a great job at bringing hidden PC gems to current gen consoles lately and Frost is no exception. Frost plays out like a more flushed out version of the recent physical card game Oregon trail. Fans of deck building and solo survival games will find a lot to love here.
Paranautical Activity is an old school shooter with a new school twist. While it may look like your average shooter from the 90s the roguelike procedural dungeon generation keeps the game fresh playthrough after playthrough. After receiving an initial somewhat controversial release on PC, Digerati Distribution is once again reviving the game – this time on the Switch.
