If Found… – PAX East 2020 Preview
If Found... is a beautiful but mysterious story about a girl and her diary.
If Found… revolves around an Irish woman named Kasio who is in the process of destroying said diary. The best and most unique part of this game is the erasing mechanic. The game progresses as you erase portions of the screen and the in-game diary. The process of erasing what is in front of you is surprisingly satisfying and is a unique way to help progress. Keeping the player actively participating at all times keeps you engaged. The visuals are pleasing to the eye and are in a beautiful hand drawn style.
The game not only looks beautiful but it also has an interesting and mysterious story. In If Found… Kasio struggles with the hardships growing up can offer. This makes for a theme to which we can all relate. Relationships seem to be integral to the story and I am eager to see where those lead.
A mysterious black hole inhabits the world of If Found… As you erase through the past, the game progresses. Communications come back and forth from a mystery space suited alley clueing you in to the info on the black hole.
We are so excited to check this one out more and luckily we will not have to wait long. If Found… is set to release Early 2020!
